About Us

Hi there! I'm Ivelisse De Jesus, the creator, owner, and face behind Icake Balloons. I'm originally from Puerto Rico, otherwise known as "La Isla del Encanto''  or "The Island of Enchantment." It is home to some of the most magical beaches and a top desired place to visit in the Caribbean.

I'm a teacher by profession, but my passion is creating these beautiful things from scratch. My inspiration is fueled by my four children. I prepped every birthday with love and passion. From making their cakes, to decorating every corner of the venue. All for the reward that was, and is, their smiles and joy! The same reward that I strive to give each of my clients through my services and dedication. 

The idea of Icake was born in 2009. What was once a passionate hobby, evolved into creating fondant figurines for cakes. Then, I took it a step further. I started baking and decorating entire cakes. After many trials, hours, and errors I decided to take the leap. I would finally do this for someone else's delight. It was only after seeing their expressions and receiving their reviews that I decided that this was my calling.
